GET INVOLVED TODAY!

We need the support of our community to keep saving lives and making a difference in Guam.

By working together we can tackle this overpopulation issue and help make Guam's future bright!

VoLUNTER with us!

At Guam Animals in Need, we are always on the look out for volunteers who are willing to step up and help us serve the community of Guam.

There are many different ways we can use your help. Check out some different ways you can get involved below!

Dog Walking

We can have anywhere from 3-20 adult dogs ready for adoption at any given time. While our kennel runs are generous in size, our adult dogs deserve as much time out of their kennels as possible playing in our dog yard while receiving love and attention.

By volunteering as a Dog Walker you will be directly impacting the lives of our adoptable dogs by providing them mental stimulation.

CAT SOCIALIZATION

While we do not house as many felines on our property as dogs and puppies, our adult Cats and Kittens deserve just as much attention! We have the capacity for 6 adult cats, and 16 kittens.

Our feline friends love to have visitors who come and give them treats, cuddles and play with them. This ensures our cats are getting the mental stimulation they need to stay happy and healthy.

FOSTERING

Sometimes we receive pets for what ever reason are not ready for adoption row. There are a few different programs we have, and they are all time bound (we promise you won't get stuck with them!)

Infant Foster: Pets who are under 8 weeks

Medical Foster: Pets who are under going treatment prior to adoption.

Flight Foster: Pets who are adopted off island with Boonie Flight Project.

Storm Foster: When we have incoming storms we need to clear all our pets for their safety while the storm passes.

SUPPLY DRIVES

We can sometimes work miracles with our limited resources, but there are essential items we need to have on hand so that we can properly care for the animals at our shelter.

Supply Drives help us get these items from the community. You may have even seen us at your local Cost-U-Less or Exchange!

Please email Tina to sign up:

SNIP CLINIC

Our SNIP Clinic which provides low cost/free spay and neutering services to our community. Sterilizing animals is an essential part of solving Guam's animal crisis.

Our Clinic is always looking for support at our Yigo location, as well as occasionally when we offer community clinics around the island.

Please visit the SNIP website for more details about getting involved with our clinic:

GROUP OPPORTUNITIES

Are you and your group/club/class interested in doing a volunteer activity for us? We would love to have your support!

Sometimes we have extra projects that need to get done (like repainting a building) or we can also support a larger group of volunteers for a day of animal socialization.

Have your organization reach out to us so we can find a way for you to serve!
