Shelter
We have several part-time employees at the Shelter, because we are unable to staff it entirely with volunteers. One of the most important ways you can help us is to volunteer a shift at the Shelter. The shifts consist of mornings, 8 a.m. - noon, and afternoons, noon to five.  In addition to feeding, cleaning and medicating the animals, we need people to man the office, greet visitors, and process adoptions.  There’s something for everyone!

Education
Humane animal care is best learned at an early age.  We need people to take our message into the schools.

Publications
We need people to compile our newsletter, DeTails, which is published four times a year.

Board of Directors
As a corporation, G.A.I.N. is managed by its Board of Directors, which consists of seven people, four officers and three members at large.

We are a working Board: every member is expected to undertake a project and be responsible for its successful completion.

Spay/Neuter Program
Sterilization is the only way we are going to reduce Guam’s stray animal population.  Thousands of stray cats and dogs lead miserable lives because people are unwilling to sterilize their pets.  The SNAP program’s annual clinic involves dozens of volunteers and is a huge event to organize.  We need a Chair for next year’s clinic.
