How is G.A.I.N. funded?

G.A.I.N. is supported entirely through donations and its fund-raising programs.  G.A.I.N. operates the public animal shelter at an annual cost of about $90,000.  Thus, donations are critical to the quality of care we can provide there.  In addition to membership fees, G.A.I.N. holds a number of fund raising events throughout the year, notably the Annual Family Dog Show.  In addition, G.A.I.N. publishes a calendar; this year we will publish two, one featuring cats, the other dogs. Various corporations also sponsor dog kennels at the Shelter, for
$250 annually.

G.A.I.N. is also the beneficiary of iGive website sales.  If you like to shop, please visit iGive.com and list G.A.I.N. as your charity.  For every purchase you make a percentage will be donated to G.A.I.N..
